Construction Folk is pleased to be recruiting of behalf of an established business based in the Hengoed area of South Wales. On their behalf, we are seeking to appoint a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join their team on a permanent basis in a maintenance role. You will work in a small but adequate maintenance workshop, and you will be provided with all the tools and equipment needed to look after our client's factory building. Whilst you will primarily work alone for most things, our client has a capable work-force and you will be assisted if and when necessary.

Must have:

• Carpentry & basic construction, plastering (patch & repair level), painting & decorating experience
• Basic plumbing skills (DIY level) would be an advantage
• A positive & practical approach to the work
• A can-do attitude
• Comfortable working alone & to own the task-at-hand
• A neat & tidy organised individual who strives for high-quality workmanship

Responsibilities:

• Assisting sub-contractors with electrical, roofing, and other tasks
• General maintenance duties to ensure the factory is kept up to standard (internal and external)
• Assisting with the site renovation, modernisation and general upkeep of the site

Hours of work:

• 39hrs per week
• Mon - Thu 8.00am to 4.30pm
• Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm

Contract Duration: Permanent

Pay Rate: £16.00p/hr
